Ride the lightning- classic from the start try fight fire with fire creeping death and the call of ktulu

System of a down

Self titled- First and their best so original and zany it stands alone too many highlights to mention but try war suite-pee and sugar first

Toxicity- Every one says trhis is the better album but i think not too many let down songs like jet pilot and the intense crazyness of the first album is lost somewhere but its still great

Arch Enemy

Wages of Sin- OHHH my God the Amott brothers are absolutely phenominal the riffs in this album cannot be bettered try enemy within then deaed bury their dead for examples and the solos are so beautiful (see burning angel) ok the vocals are'nt for eveyone but it just does'nt matter when the songs are so good

Led Zeppelin

1-4- These guys have really done nothing bad at all but the first four are the best you have stairway, whole lotta love, heartbreaker, communication breakdown, immigrant song, since i've been loving you and black dog to name only a few buy em all you'll love em

Slayer

Seasons in the abyss- Slayers best don't let anyone tell you otherwise from the off the pace is manic War ensemble is classic and the great riffs just keep coming blood red spirit in black deaed skin mask and sthe title track are the bomb but there is'nt a bad song on here. The mixed nature of the album between fast and slow songs makes it their best work over reign in blood and south of heaven 

Reign in blood- Angel of death and reigning blood make this a classic but the rest of the material is just as good postmortem and criminally insane being prime examples a great album to mosh out to

Shadows Fall

The art of balance- The best new metal band around this is simply astounding it combines thrash with hardcore and rock blending them all together with huge instrumentals powerful vocals  that go from screams to heartfelt melody and a pair of guitarists to rival slayer and arch enemy. Try destroyer of senses and a fire in babylon

Tool

Aenima- The greatest collection of songs they have produced there is no filler here even in the spoken word excercises of message to harry manbach and others. The scope of the record is unparrallelled thought provoking heavy yet mellow, calm yet angry as hell, and long but it does'nt drag on like some prog acts. listen to pushit aenima and hooker with a penis

Lateralus- A step on from aenima although mellower had an atmospherre all of its own the lyrics are even more puzzling as are the song stuctures but somehow is'nt quite as good
